Shift: 3x12 Nights (1845-0715); Weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients in an orthopedic unit. Responsibilities include medication administration, patient assessment, and utilizing the Omnicell medication system.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient care, ensuring patient safety and quality of care.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and social services.
• Prepare and maintain patient records and documentation in the EPIC system.
• Float to other units as needed based on skill set and census demands.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience in an orthopedic or surgical unit.
• Experience with EPIC documentation system is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Tennessee RN license or multistate RN licensure.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
