Job Description

Join our specialized neurological unit for an exciting opportunity to enhance your nursing skills in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment. Work with patients experiencing a variety of neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, and Guillain Barre Syndrome. As a Joint Commission-accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region, you will care for many acute and complex patients using advanced continuous video EEG technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological disorders.
• Utilize telemetry experiences to monitor patient vitals and respond to critical changes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients effectively.
• Document patient care and interventions accurately and timely.

Required Experience

• Two (2) years of experience in nursing.
• Telemetry experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS certification required.
