ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Aberdeen, Washington.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position is 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. Primarily day shift with hours varying according to the OR schedule. This position includes OR on-call, which may also occur on holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room is responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing individualized comprehensive nursing care to all patients. This includes ensuring the readiness of the operating room and the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of nursing care in the operating room.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Assist with surgical procedures as an OR circulator.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes in condition.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience

• Current Washington state license or multi-state license.
• Previous experience as an OR circulator.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must hold a current Washington state nursing license or multi-state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
