Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, Level 1 trauma center environment. We are seeking a skilled nurse with experience in neuro and ortho surgery, and the ability to handle a variety of surgical cases while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the operating room prior to surgical procedures
• Circulate and scrub for various surgeries, noting the specialty focus on neuro and ortho
• Maintain aseptic technique and uphold the safety protocols
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patients for complications

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Level 1 trauma center, with neuro experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Specific expertise in handling trauma, neuro, and ortho surgical cases
• Compact RN license required; WA license application and training may be needed for out-of-state candidates
