Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop and modify treatment plans based on patient needs and physician direction. This role involves creating functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities and educating patients, families, and colleagues. Adherence to compliance standards, including patient confidentiality and safety protocols, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient goals and discharge plans.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation per state and federal guidelines.
• Ensure all care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
• Participate in student program assignments, providing a positive learning environment.
• Engage in professional development through continuing education and self-study.
• Adhere to the State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Demonstrate knowledge of performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience required.
• Current CPR certification.

Certifications/Licensure

Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
