Schedule/Shift
Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30). Weekend coverage required.
Job Description
The ICU/Tele Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in the Intensive Care Unit and Telemetry. Responsibilities include monitoring critical patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to implement care plans effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage care for ventilated patients and those requiring continuous IV sedation.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias.
- Perform procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
- Engage in ICP monitoring as needed.
- Float within the ICU/Telemetry units as necessary based on patient care needs.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or Telemetry setting.
- Charge experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- NIHSS certification required.
- Valid state nursing license required at the time of submission.
