ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit/Telemetry (Night Shift) in Pomona, California.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend shifts are required, and up to 5 days of RTO and one holiday can be approved off. Guaranteed hours are 36, with the client able to cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in this position will provide high-quality care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit and Telemetry settings. The facility is a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center with a focus on various patient diagnoses, including Stroke/Neuro and Cardiac conditions. Clinicians will work with modern charting systems, specifically Cerner, and utilize skills related to ventilated patients, IV sedation, and dysrhythmias management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ICU and Telemetry settings.
• Manage care for patients requiring ventilators and continuous IV sedation.
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, administering procedural sedation as necessary.
• Maintain effective communication with the healthcare team and document care accurately.
• Float between various ICU and Telemetry units based on facility needs.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
• Previous travel experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license in California is required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
