This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday; Call required once every four weeks from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM during on-call blocks.

Job Description

The GI Center at Mullica Hill is seeking an experienced Intraprocedural GI Registered Nurse to support patients through the endoscopy care continuum. The RN will be responsible for both intra-procedural nursing and post-procedure recovery. This role requires strong clinical skills in a GI/endoscopy setting, including the ability to monitor moderate sedation and independently manage patients during both the procedure and recovery phases.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during gastroenterology procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and sedation levels during procedures.
• Assist in the recovery phase post-procedure to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic charting.

Required Experience

• Active New Jersey RN license or qualifying compact RN license in good standing.
• Recent hands-on experience in endoscopy nursing, specifically in both intra-procedure and post-procedure recovery.
• Experience monitoring moderate sedation is essential.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
