ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Oncology (Night Shift) in Neptune, New Jersey.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week. Weekends and holidays required when needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. You will plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs. As a key part of the healthcare team, you will identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients, performing therapeutic nursing interventions and managing overall patient care.

Responsibilities

• Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, the physician’s diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Document care according to standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centered care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

Two (2) years of experience in acute adult oncology, specializing in leukemia and lymphoma, inpatient setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS - AHA certification required.
• Chemotherapy administration certification required.
• Telemetry and Chemo Certification with ONS preferred.
