ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in York, Pennsylvania.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

12-hour shifts available: 0700-1930, 0900-2130, 1100-2330. On-call required during one weekday and four weekends of call within a 13-week assignment.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will serve as a vital member of the surgical team, responsible for managing the care of patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role emphasizes maintaining patient safety and ensuring high-quality care through effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and verify patient information and surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team by ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and functioning.
• Monitor patient status and safety throughout the surgical procedure.
• Manage documentation accurately during the surgical process.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with various team members to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Experience as a circulating nurse in the operating room is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Compliance with PA Act 31, 33, 34, and 73 regulations.
