ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in York, Pennsylvania.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires working 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix, which can be days, evenings, or nights. Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays. Call requirements include 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix with a 30-minute response required. The maximum requested time off (RTO) is 7 days.

Job Description

This opportunity is in the Operating Room with a focus on robotics and general surgeries, excluding open heart and neurosurgery. The facility operates with a tobacco and fragrance-free policy and may involve caring for COVID patients. Proficiency in the Davinci xi robot is required, and familiarity with the DV5 Davinci robot is a plus. Candidates must function independently across several specialties, including Robotics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, GYN, Urology, and more.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures
• Assist in robotic surgeries, ensuring extensive knowledge in robotic general, gyn, thoracic, and urology specialties
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
• Document patient care accurately using Epic
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with hospital policies

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• Level I Trauma experience preferred (Level II trauma experience required)
• Previous travel experience in the Operating Room

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license with no hits
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
