ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cardiac (Night Shift) in Clyde, North Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Evening shift, 36 hours per week. Every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care unit will care for cardiac patients, including those recovering from cardiac catheterization, undergoing cardioversions, and other related procedures within the adult population. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring, offering a 4:1 patient ratio in a 22-bed setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient condition and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress in the EHR (Paragon).
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to implement and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients and families on discharge plans and ongoing care needs.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of step-down or ICU experience.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
