ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, NICU/SCN (Day Shift) in Sylva, North Carolina.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends required.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the NICU/SCN unit, you will provide high-quality care to newborns, especially those requiring specialized attention. The unit is a small community facility with a licensed capacity of 4 beds, emphasizing a world-class patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries and provide immediate post-resuscitation care.
• Utilize NRP skills effectively across various scenarios.
• Collaboratively problem-solve and provide patient-centered care.

Required Experience

Preferred candidates should have at least one year of experience in a NICU or Special Care Nursery setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• STABLE certification is also required.
