ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery (Day Shift) in White Plains, New York.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The position requires working every third weekend for days, with night shifts on Fridays and Saturdays. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will care for patients in a fast-paced environment, including handling C-sections and caring for high-risk OB patients. The nurse will conduct full assessments and manage patient care, requiring high-risk experience. Charting responsibilities involve using Meditech and GE systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and facilitate deliveries.
• Perform full assessments and manage care plans for high-risk patients.
• Chart patient data in both Meditech and GE systems.
• Collaborate with hospitalist or intensivist teams for patient management.
• Assist with C-sections and ensure proper patient flow in the unit.

Required Experience

Strong experience in high-risk OB nursing is required, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license
• ACLS certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• BSN is required
