ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Neuro (Night Shift) in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Schedule/Shift

Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00), with 6 weekend shifts required in a 6-week period.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical Neuro unit is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions. The unit comprises 32 beds and features a supportive interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and respiratory services. The position requires experience with Epic charting and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient caseload of 1:6.
• Administer blood products, manage central lines, chest tubes, and colostomy/ileostomy care.
• Provide care for patients experiencing cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) and other medical-surgical conditions.
• Ensure accurate documentation through Epic charting.
• Engage in rapid response team activations as necessary.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Travel nursing experience is preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification is required (pending approval).
• CPI certification is preferred.
