ARMStaffing is looking for a Physical Therapist, Outpatient (Day Shift) in Longmont, Colorado.

Assignment Duration

This is a 6-month contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position involves treating 2 patients per hour, generally providing 45 minutes or more of care per session. Initial evaluations and safety assessments are allotted a full hour of one-on-one care.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in line with the patients’ needs and goals. You will be responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those patients. Additionally, you will create functional treatment programs that facilitate effective patient returns to community activities. As an educator, you will provide guidance to patients, families, students, and coworkers while adhering to the organization's mission and core values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and goals aimed at progressing patients toward discharge.
• Document medical records accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Provide oversight for therapy services and participate in the student program by providing supervision and evaluations.
• Engage in continuous professional development, applying learned information to enhance service delivery.
• Adhere strictly to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing through regular continuing education.
• Participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience is required.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid Physical Therapist license to practice in the state of Colorado.
