Schedule/Shift

Shifts are 10 hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with occasional call coverage for PTO days.

Job Description

This position is for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at an acute care facility. The hospital offers a world-class patient experience, prioritizing both clinical care and patient satisfaction. The OR team utilizes a variety of equipment, including the Hana table, trauma table, and various surgical devices. Nurses will interact with diverse patients across multiple specializations including Orthopedics, General Surgery, GYN, ENT, and more.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of operating rooms, including the arrangement of sterile instruments and equipment.
• Maintain a safe and organized environment during surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide care during and after surgeries.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all nursing procedures and patient interactions accurately.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably with one travel assignment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
