Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be part of the Orthopedic/Oncology/Medical-Surgical unit at Memorial Medical Center. This role involves providing care for a diverse patient population, including adult and elderly patients. The RN will utilize Meditech as the electronic health record system and be part of a trauma level facility that values quality and compassionate healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Document patient care and progress in Meditech.
• Float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Medical-Surgical setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification is required.
