This position requires working 3 night shifts (12 hours) from 18:00 to 06:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care for neonates aged 29 weeks and above, particularly those in critical conditions. The nurse will manage various procedures including high-risk deliveries, stabilizing infants for transfer, and ensuring proper charting and documentation using the Epic system.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for neonates, including those > 34 weeks and 29-34 weeks.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and offer support for breastfeeding and handling of breast milk.
• Manage CPAP, UAC, and UVC lines.
• Administer ventilator management techniques (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP).
• Ensure thorough documentation using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting preferred.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid RN License – Compact license must be in hand at submission.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
