ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit (Day Shift) in Asheville, North Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend.
Job Description
The Progressive Care Unit is a 44-bed critical care unit at Mission Hospital focusing on neuro and trauma patients. The unit utilizes advanced medical technologies including IV pumps, PCA pumps, chest tubes, and patient lifts. The electronic medical records system used is Cerner.
Responsibilities
- Perform neuro and spinal checks.
- Manage C-Collar placement, TLSO braces, and feeding tube placements.
- Administer blood transfusions and manage medication via PCA pumps.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies.
Required Experience
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Experience in neuro and trauma care.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN license required.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
