Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will serve patients of all ages, addressing a broad spectrum of medical needs. This role involves emergency medical care, collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team, and utilizing advanced medical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
- Assess and triage patients to determine their medical needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and document care progress.
- Participate in educational activities for staff and patients.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room or Trauma setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- AHA ACLS
- BLS
- CPI/HWC
- PALS
- TNCC
- ENPC
- Current Virginia RN licensure
