Job Description
Join Fauquier Health, a 97-bed acute care hospital, as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. Our facility features advanced surgical services, a 24-hour Emergency Department, a robust Intensive Care Unit, and a Family Birthing Center, among other specialties.
As a member of our team, you will provide care for patients across the entire age spectrum. You will be responsible for performing essential ER tasks, including phlebotomy, IV administration, EKGs, splinting, wound care, and patient transport.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to all patients in the Emergency Department.
- Perform phlebotomy, IV placements, EKGs, and other essential ER procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Document patient care and progress in the EHR system (Meditech).
- Assist in creating a positive experience for patients and their families.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license in Virginia.
- ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS certification required.
