Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role requires an understanding of perioperative care and effective communication with both surgical teams and patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the care of patients preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively.
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and provide necessary interventions during surgical procedures.
- Document patient care accurately in accordance with facility policies.
- Adapt to different surgical environments and roles including scrub and circulating responsibilities.
Required Experience
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado or eligibility to obtain prior to start date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (can be obtained upon hire).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Certifications/Licensure
- Registered Nurse License in Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
