Seasonal Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

Saturday through Monday, Day Shift from 7 AM to 5 PM, with the possibility of rotating one additional weekday shift covering the third shift.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Seasonal Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of current hospital acute care experience and a passion for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Operating Room setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OR RNs, CSTs, and anesthesia techs.
• Perform circulating and scrubbing duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with the hospital's policies and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required (2 twelve-hour call shifts and 3-4 evening call shifts per month).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care experience.
• Preferred experience with circulating and scrubbing in the OR setting.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is a plus.
