ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Medical-Surgical unit. Duties include monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide effective patient management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medications and therapeutic interventions as prescribed.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.

Required Experience

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred.
• Must be able to provide proof of NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Certifications/Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
