This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Rotation every 5th weekend with patient visits on Saturday for priority cases.

Job Description

Join the rehabilitation team at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, where you’ll provide a range of services in both acute care and outpatient settings. This role involves therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, balance and gait training, all while working with a diverse patient population. You will utilize various modalities and equipment, including a pool, cardiovascular training tools, and fitness center resources, to facilitate recovery and promote patient independence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercises and manual therapy.
• Implement vestibular rehabilitation programs as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions in the EMR system (CERNER for acute care and Nethealth Xfits for outpatient).

Required Experience

• Experience in outpatient and acute care settings is a must.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the State of North Carolina.
