ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (Night Shift) in Glendale, Arizona.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position offers a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed per week. Weekend and holiday rotations are required, with the possibility of float to support other units and call responsibilities.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit will provide critical care to patients in a high-acuity setting. Responsibilities include monitoring patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Neuro/Medical ICU.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Administer medications and manage IV lines as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and discharge planning.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 24 months of ICU experience, with at least 12 months of recent experience.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Candidate must provide a driver's license to verify residency.
