Adult ICU Registered Nurse

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a shift schedule of 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. This position requires availability for weekends, holidays, and floating as per departmental guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Adult ICU Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with special emphasis on stroke management. Candidates must be flexible in terms of location and department assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the ICU.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and manage life support equipment.
• Administer medications and fluids as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license without any hits, verified within the last 30 days.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from approved vendors.
• NIHSS certification is required.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
• Must have a driver's license to verify residency.
