Schedule/Shift

This position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week with rotating shifts between day and evening. On-call duties are included as part of the role.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will provide support in the Operating Room, primarily focusing on orthopedic surgeries and total joint procedures. The candidate will be part of a team implementing a Davinci robotics program, requiring experience with Davinci robotic surgical systems. The role involves assisting the surgical team, maintaining sterile environments, and preparing surgical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during procedures by providing needed instruments and supplies.
• Ensure sterile and safe working conditions within the operating room.
• Prepare, handle, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Monitor surgical procedures and respond to the surgical team’s needs appropriately.
• Participate in the implementation and operation of the Davinci robotics program.

Required Experience

• Experience in the Operating Room with a focus on orthopedic surgery and total joint procedures.
• Proven expertise in using Davinci robotic surgical systems.
• Experience working with Cerner EMR technology is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
