Schedule/Shift

3x12 hour shifts, working nights from 19:00 - 07:30; weekends as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care in the emergency department. The role involves assessing patient respiratory conditions, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications to patients.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and response to therapy.
• Document all patient care activities and therapies accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members on patient care plans.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory health.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist is required. Candidates must also possess a valid Ohio RRT license, NBRC certification, and BLS certification in hand at the time of submission.
