Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Critical Care

Job Description

This position involves providing high-level respiratory care in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, along with the potential to float to various children's rehabilitation units. The Respiratory Therapist will work primarily with pediatric patients, ensuring the delivery of excellent care in critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy to pediatric patients in NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Assist in the management of ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory care processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of experience in a pediatric critical care environment.
• Active Ohio RRT license is required.
• Current certifications including NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS.
• Experience in NICU, PICU, and CVICU required (high-level care level 4).

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30).
