ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, NICU (Day Shift) in Spokane, Washington.

Schedule/Shift

4x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, with variable weekend requirements.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide exceptional care to neonates in the NICU, managing complex medical conditions. This position requires proficiency in administering medications, performing assessments, and supporting families within the unit.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Conduct thorough assessments and monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create optimal care plans for each patient.
• Educate families regarding the care of their neonates and facilitate support services.
• Manage specialized equipment and technology used in the NICU.
• Support the overall developmental needs of neonates while implementing appropriate interventions.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in a NICU.
• Experience with patient ratios such as 1:1, 1:2, and familiarity with charting systems, particularly Epic.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS and NRP certification required.
• Must possess a valid compact RN license.
