ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, NICU (Night Shift) in Spokane, Washington.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required on a variable basis.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide specialized nursing care for neonates in the NICU. The nurse will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include management of ventilators, administration of medications, monitoring hemodynamics, and supporting families through the care process.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates in the NICU
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor vital signs and laboratory results
• Manage ventilators and perform respiratory assessments
• Support breastfeeding and family involvement in care
• Document care and patient progress using Epic charting system
• Float between units as needed, focusing on patients under the age of 2 on pediatric units

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an NICU setting
• Experience managing a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license (Compact license preferred)
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
