ARMStaffing is looking for a CVOR Tech (Day Shift) in Hays, Kansas.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires a rotating schedule with call responsibilities, working five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts.

Job Description

The CVOR Tech will work within a collaborative environment taking care of patients in the operating room setting. This position involves aiding surgeons and assisting with special procedures, while also maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout surgeries. Experience with the Meditech charting system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular surgeries.
• Maintain and prepare the operating room with appropriate surgical instruments and supplies.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
• Document all procedures in the electronic charting system, preferably Meditech.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CVOR Tech.
• Previous charge experience is not required.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
