ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, CVOR (Night Shift) in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:30). Must work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Every other weekend commitment is required, with about 1 weekend/month on-call duty.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the CVOR department will focus on providing high-quality care to adult patients undergoing cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries. The role includes scrubbing and circulating duties in a fast-paced operating room setting. Experience with a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures, such as CABG, valve surgeries, and TAVR, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in cardiovascular operating room settings.
• Manage patient care pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.
• Provide emergency care based on patient needs during surgery.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in CVOR.
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
• Charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active New Jersey or Compact nursing license required at time of submission.
• BLS certification is required.
• CNOR certification is preferred.
