Schedule/Shift
Day shift options are 6 AM - 6 PM or 10 AM - 10 PM, including every other weekend, for a total of 36 hours a week.
Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide care in a long-term care setting, primarily working with patients diagnosed with dementia. The role may require floating between units as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses.
- Assist in the implementation of patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient health status and progress.
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
- Support patients with daily living activities.
Required Experience
At least 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a long-term care setting is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Must hold a valid LPN license in New York.
- BLS certification is required.
