Schedule/Shift

Rotating shifts of 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm, working at least every other holiday.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Stepdown Unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus provides care to patients with critical medical issues, potentially floating to other units. This role requires effective collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in a stepdown unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, ensuring timely interventions.
• Assist in administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required Experience

• MUST HAVE 12 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty applying for.
• MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification is also required.
