Schedule/Shift

Shift: 07:00-17:30, 10-hour shifts; Traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This position involves collaboration with the clinical team to ensure patient safety and effective operation during procedures. The role requires familiarity with imaging equipment and protocols relevant to the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and operation of catheterization laboratory equipment.
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitoring vital signs and providing patient education.
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the work environment.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to facilitate efficient and safe procedures.

Required Experience

• Current certification in a relevant modality.
• Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory environment preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid certification as a Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
