ARMStaffing is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Schedule/Shift

5 days a week, 8-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Weekend call is required with approximately 6 weekday call shifts and 2 weekend call rotations every 6 weeks.

Job Description

This Certified Surgical Technologist position involves working in a dynamic Operating Room environment at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, which is part of Jefferson Health. The department features approximately 14 operating rooms and primarily serves adult and geriatric patients. Scrubbing experience in total joint, neuro, transplant, and vascular procedures is essential. The facility provides scrubs for the staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by ensuring the operating room is sterile and ready for surgeries.
• Scrub for a variety of operations including but not limited to neuro, vascular, and transplant surgeries.
• Prepare and pass instruments and supplies during surgical procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean surgical environment.
• Monitor and assist as needed to support the surgical team.

Required Experience

• 2 years of Operating Room Surgical Tech experience.
• Experience in scrubbing total joint procedures.
• Neuro and transplant experience is required.
• Vascular experience is required.
• Strong general OR experience, especially in trauma cases.

Certifications/Licensure

• National Surgical Technologist certification is required.
• Both NCCT and NBSTSA certification are accepted, with NBSTSA specifically identified as required in the unit description.
