ARMStaffing is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Schedule/Shift

Schedule includes 2x12s from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM and 2x8s from 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Weekend call is required with approximately 6 weekday call shifts and 2 weekend call rotations in a 6-week period.

Job Description

This position is for a Certified Surgical Technologist at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, part of Jefferson Health. The Operating Room has approximately 14 rooms and serves adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate must have experience scrubbing total joint procedures, as well as experience in neuro, transplant, vascular, and general surgery. Experience with procedures such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic cases, total hip and knee replacements, and various neuro and vascular surgeries is essential. The facility provides scrubs and uses the Cerner documentation system.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing for various surgical procedures, including total joint, neuro, transplant, vascular, and general surgery.
• Assisting surgical teams in preparing instruments and maintaining sterile fields.
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs as required.
• Participating in call rotations and working as needed in support of the operating room schedule.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room Surgical Tech experience.
• Experience with Level I trauma and strong general OR experience is required.
• Experience scrubbing for total joints, neuro, transplant, and vascular procedures is mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

• National Surgical Technologist certification required (NCCT or NBSTSA certification accepted).
