Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), weekend coverage required.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit and Telemetry units, ensuring proper monitoring and treatment of critical conditions. The role involves working with diverse patient populations, including stroke/neuro, cardiac, trauma, and general cases. The clinician must be proficient in care for ventilated patients and managing dysrhythmias while utilizing the Cerner charting system.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for critically ill patients in the ICU and telemetry settings.
- Monitor hemodynamic status and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
- Document patient assessments and interventions in Cerner.
- Float to various ICU/Telemetry units as needed.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU/Telemetry nursing experience.
- Experience in managing ventilated patients and dysrhythmias.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
- Valid state nursing license required at the time of submission.
