This position requires a Night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend shifts are required.
Job Description
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Trauma ICU, where you'll provide critical care to patients with a variety of trauma-related diagnoses. This position includes a diverse patient population with high acuity levels in an Acute Care Hospital setting, where innovative care practices are in place.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Trauma ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing continuous patient evaluation and intervention.
- Administer medication and manage complex medical equipment as required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document all patient care activities accurately in Cerner.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in Trauma ICU nursing is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN licensure in California.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred.
