Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in emergency situations. This role supports the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and conditions continuously.
- Provide patient and family education on health management and disease prevention.
Required Experience
Candidates must have previous experience in an emergency department or critical care setting.
Certifications/Licensure
A valid Registered Nurse license and BLS certification are required. Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are preferred.
