ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical (Day Shift) in Henderson, North Carolina.

Schedule/Shift

Day Shift: 07:00-19:00, 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The position involves providing care for medical-surgical patients within a comprehensive healthcare setting. You will work in a well-equipped unit with a focus on maintaining high-quality patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a patient population with diverse medical needs.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the supervisor.
• Start IVs, insert Foley catheters, and insert NG tubes as needed.
• Perform EKGs and manage heparin drips.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
