Schedule/Shift

This position requires working 12-hour night shifts, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide high-quality patient care in a Med-Surg setting. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and assisting with daily living activities. The LPN will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintain effective communication with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs and clinical status.
• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Required Experience

• Current LPN license in North Carolina.
• Experience in a Med-Surg setting is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in North Carolina.
