ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Med Surg Telemetry (Night Shift) in Albany, New York.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires a Night Shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Med Surg Telemetry unit within a 600+ bed academic hospital. Candidates should be prepared to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and interpret telemetry readings.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.

Required Experience

1 year of experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score required, or 2 years of experience with no testing required. Candidates must complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission.

Certifications/Licensure

An active registered nurse license is required.
