Job Description

The role involves assisting with the call-back queue to provide patients with updates regarding their lab results. This position serves as a vital line of communication between patients and providers, addressing patient questions and delivering necessary messages. Since it is not a forward-facing position, there will be no direct patient care or bedside duties. The role requires consistent phone interaction throughout the shift to manage backlogs and perform outbound calling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with call-back queues for patient lab results.
• Provide clarification and messages from healthcare providers to patients.
• Serve as a communication bridge for patient inquiries directed to providers.
• Perform outbound calling to manage backlogs effectively.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all communications.

Required Experience

• Current RN License in Georgia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
