ARMStaffing is looking for a Pathologists Assistant, Anatomic Pathology (Day Shift) in Baltimore, Maryland.

Schedule/Shift

Monday to Friday, 5x8s, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekend or on-call requirements.

Job Description

This position is situated within the Laboratory at LBH Sinai Hospital. The average workload includes approximately 250 blocks per day and 30 to 40 cases daily. The department primarily handles Breast, GI, GYN, and Pediatric specimens, along with a variety of other specimen types and biopsies. Orientation is approximately 8 hours, and the department requires someone who can become independent quickly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied surgical pathology specimen workload effectively.
• Process and dictate specimens using Voicebrook.
• Utilize Roche/Ventana Vantage for specimen tracking.
• Adapt quickly to the high-volume demands of the lab.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pathologists Assistant in a high-volume Anatomic Pathology environment is required.
• Experience with Breast, GI, GYN, and Pediatric specimens is strongly desired.

Certifications/Licensure

• ASCP certification is required.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• No Maryland state licensure is specified.
