Schedule/Shift

Day shift, 4x10 hours with call requirements: 2-3 calls/week and at least 1 weekend per month (24 hours).

Job Description

The CVOR Tech will play a vital role in the operating room, supporting cardiovascular surgeries. The technician will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, preparing surgical instruments, and assisting the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the operating room.
• Prepare instruments and supplies for cardiovascular surgeries.
• Maintain instrumentation standards and ensure proper sterilization techniques.
• Participate in team discussions and provide support in surgical cases for adults, adolescents, and geriatrics.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of CVOR tech experience.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current certification from NBSTSA or TS-C (NCCT not accepted).
• BLS certification required.
• Active Maryland or Compact license required. Pending licenses not accepted.
