ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse First Assistant, Operating Room in Taos, New Mexico.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse First Assistant will be responsible for both first assist and circulator duties in the operating room, with a strong focus on orthopedic procedures. Candidates with robotic surgical experience and c-section experience are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide first assist and circulator duties in various surgical procedures.
• Work closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize strong orthopedic and robotic surgical skills.
• Participate in call rotation for first assist duties.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an operating room setting.
• Strong orthopedic experience with robotic surgery proficiency.
• Experience as a first assistant in surgical procedures.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RNFA certification.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
• Valid state nursing license prior to start date.
